Upper side glabrous, not metallic; the ground color of pronotum yellowish or reddish brown, and with black marking(s). BL = 4.37 mm, BW = 2.67 mm, HL = 1.25 mm, HW = 1.31 mm, PL = 1.40 mm, PW = 2.37 mm, EL = 3.03 mm, AL = 1.34 mm, AW = 0.36 mm, SL = 0.62 mm.</p><p>Description. Body (Figs. 1-1A–B) pale yellowish testaceous. Head ochraceous, vertex with a darkish pitchy horizontal stripe, and in middle region with a short vertical stripe; area above antennal sockets with a pair of darkish brown and rounded marking; labrum and mandibles darkish brown; antennae yellowish brown on first four segments, black on terminal seven. Pronotum weakly ochraceous, anterior and basal margins black; disc with a pair of rounded black marking. Scutellum black. Elytron pale yellowish testaceous, basal, sutural and apical margins black; there is an oblong black stripe on humeral area. Ventral surface of body mostly darkish brown, prosternum and mesosternum yellowish brown; legs yellowish brown, tibia tinged with black.</p><p>Head slightly more than one-half of prothorax width, nearly round in frontal outline, moderately punctured; vertex feebly raised and with a longitudinal groove. Eyes emarginate below middle, superior eye-lobes separated and narrower than antennal insertions. Clypeus slightly punctured, anterior margin strongly concave, with long hairs. Antennae long and thick, reaching middle region of elytra; 1 st segment thick, clubbed, 2 nd spherical, 2/5 as long as 1 st, 3 rd slender, about 1.5 times as long as 2 nd, 4 like 3, 5 th longer than 4 th, from 5 th segment on somewhat equal in length, 5 th –8 th broad and flatted, terminal three segments slightly slender.</p><p>Pronotum (Figs. 1-1A–B) convex, smooth and shining, 2/3 as long as broad, subtrapezoid in dorsal view; anterior margin nearly straight in dorsal view; basal margin moderately sinuate, obtuse and truncate in middle. Disc evenly convex, practically shiny. Scutellum tongue-shaped, longer than broad, raised posteriorly; with strongly fine punctures.</p><p>Elytron (Figs. 1-1A–B) 1.2 times as long as broad, widest behind middle, rounded apically, slightly sinuate at side in dorsal view, humeri somewhat prominent, glabrous. Disc of each with eleven regular and even puncture rows, but punctures sparse apically, interspaces without punctures.</p><p>Ventral surfaces of body with close and fine punctures and pubescence. Prosternum trapeziform, anterior and posterior margins concave. Mesosternum shorter than prosternum, with width about 1.5 times of length. Metasternum with dense and coarse punctures. Pygidium with dense punctures and short pubescence.</p><p>Aedeagus (Figs. 1-1D–F; 1-2A–C) elongate, about 3.7 times as long as wide, parallel-sided. Apex of median lobe slightly narrower than middle, round at apex, moderately curved in lateral view; with sparse pubescence on each side of apex, without punctures. Median orifice with middle sclerite bending inwards below surface. Inner sac rather slender, bell-shaped, bilobed at apex. Tegmen Y-shaped, moderately sclerotized.</p><p>Female. Body more robust than male. Spermatheca (Figs. 1-1C; 1-2D) hook-shaped, right-angled and bending near at halfway, very acute at apex; duct weakly sclerotized, basal part spirally coiling, and apical part irregularly coiling. Rectal sclerites moderately sclerotized, slightly connected between two rectangular sclerites on ventral side.</p><p>Distribution: China (Yunnan).</p><p>Diagnosis. This new species is similar to C. (s. str.) sinuatolineatus Pic, 1920, but can be distinguished by the black markings on head, pronotum and elytra. The male of the new species has slenderer aedeagus and the female has the apical part of spermathecal duct irregularly coiling.</p><p>Etymology. Head dark brown; inner side of superior eye-lobes with two yellowish brown spots; clypeus and labrum darkly yellowish brown; mandibles reddish brown, apex black; antennae yellowish brown on first four segments, black on terminal seven. Pronotum pitchy brown, with two black marking along basal margin, occupying 2/3 of total area. Scutellum entirely black. Elytron yellow, with 5 black stripes, basal and sutural margins black. Ventral surface of body largely black, prosternum and middle part of abdomen yellowish brown, legs yellowish brown, claws black.</p><p>Head more than one-half as broad as prothorax, nearly round in frontal outline, vertex and frons with coarse punctures and long white pubescence. Eyes emarginate below middle, superior eye-lobes separated and wider than antennal insertions. Clypeus coarsely punctured and pubescent, apical region wrinkled, anterior margin weakly concave. Antennae of males long and broad, reaching apical 1/3 of elytra; 1 st segment thick, clubbed, 2 nd spherical, 2/5 as long as 1 st, 3 rd –4 th slender, about equal in length, 2 times as long as 2 nd, shorter than 5 th, from 5 th segment on somewhat equal in length, 5 th –8 th broadened and flatted.</p><p>Pronotum (Figs. 2-1A–B) convex, smooth and shining, nearly 0.64 time as long as broad, trapezoidal in dorsal view; anterior margin slightly arcuate in anterodorsal view; basal margin weakly sinuate, obtuse and truncate in middle; disc evenly convex, smooth, with very fine punctures. Scutellum heart shaped, longer than broad, basal margin slightly sharp, sloping upward apically, smooth and without punctures.</p><p>Elytron (Figs. 2-1A–B) about 2.5 times as long as broad, humeri slightly prominent, roundly truncate apically. Disc of each with eleven somewhat oblique rows of fairly deep punctures; interspaces with sparsely minute punctures.</p><p>Ventral surfaces of body with rather densely fine punctures and long silver pubescence. Prosternum square, surface uneven, posterior margin with a pair of horned protrusions. Mesosternum broad and small, longer than broad. The middle part of Pygidium of male with roundly arcuate posterior margin. Claws without teeth.</p><p>Aedeagus (Figs. 2-1D–F, 2-2A–C) elongate, clubbed, about 3.7 times as long as wide. Apex of median lobe straight, slightly narrower than middle, pointed at apex, weakly curved in lateral view; with several pubescence on each side of apex, ventral side with fine punctures. Median orifice with middle sclerite bending inwards below surface. Inner sac oblong and simple. Tegmen Y-shaped, moderately sclerotized.</p><p>Female. Body more robust than male; antennae slightly shorter than male, reaching middle region of elytra; coloration of tarsi paler than males, legs yellowish brown, claws black; posterior margin of pygidium more broadened and rounded. Spermatheca ((Fig. 2-1C)) hook-shaped, acute-angled bending near 3/5 from apex, very acute at apex; duct weakly sclerotized, spirally coiling. Rectal sclerites weakly sclerotized, connected between two rectangular sclerites on ventral side.</p><p>Distribution. China (Tibet).</p><p>Diagnosis. This new species is well distinguished from all its congeners by the elytra with regular pattern of yellow and black colors and by the special form of aedeagus in males.</p><p>Etymology. Pronotum pitchy brown, basal margin black, disc with 6 black markings, two of them in middle region bigger than the other four in lateral region. Scutellum yellowish brown, anterior margin black. Elytron yellowish brown, basal margin and upper half of lateral margin back. Ventral surface of body largely yellowish brown, lateral region of metasternum and metepisternum tinged with black; legs yellowish brown, dorsal view of femora and tibiae black, tarsi black.</p><p>Head more than one-half as broad as prothorax, nearly round in frontal outline, surface uneven, frons and vertex with fine punctures. Eyes emarginate below middle, superior eye-lobes separated slightly wider than antennal insertions. Clypeus smooth, without punctures, anterior margin concave and with pubescence. Antennae of males long and broad, reaching 1/2 region of elytra; 1 st segment thick, clubbed, 2 nd spherical, 1/3 as long as 1 st; 3 rd –4 th slender, 3 rd 1.5 times as long as 2 nd, 4 th longer than 3 rd and shorter than 5 th, from 5 th segment on somewhat equal in length, broadened and flatted.</p><p>Pronotum (Figs. 3-1A–B) convex, nearly 0.58 time as long as broad, trapezoidal in dorsal view; anterior margin nearly straight in anterodorsal view; lateral margin slightly wide, in dorsal view 2/3 of basal region can be seen; basal margin weakly sinuate, obtuse and truncate in middle; disc evenly convex, without any punctures. Scutellum triangular, wider than length, anterior margin concave, middle part of lateral margins constricted, looping upward apically, smooth and without any punctures.</p><p>Elytron (Figs. 3-1A–B) about 2.6 times as long as broad, humeri weakly prominent, glabrous, rounded-truncate apically. Disc of each with eleven somewhat oblique and irregular rows of densely deep punctures, each puncture row with groove; interspaces without any punctures.</p><p>Ventral surfaces of body with rather densely fine punctures and shortly pale pubescence. Prosternum square, surface uneven, middle part of anterior margin with a small protrusion, posterior margin nearly straight. Mesosternum broad and small, central part of basal margin concave. Pygidium with densely fine punctures and short pubescence, posterior margin of male rounded arcuate.</p><p>Aedeagus (Figs. 3-1D–F; 3-2A–C) elongate, sword-shaped, about 3.3 times as long as wide. Apex of median lobe triangular, strongly narrower than middle, sharp at apex, weakly curved in lateral view; with several pubescence on each side of apex, without punctures. Median orifice with middle sclerite bending inwards below surface. Inner sac rather simple. Tegmen Y-shaped, weakly sclerotized.</p><p>Female. Body more robust than male; antennae slightly shorter than male, reaching humeral region of elytra, posterior margin of pygidium more broadened and rounded. Spermatheca (Figs. 3-1C; 3-2D) hook-shaped, acute-angled bending near 1/2 from apex, very acute at the apex; duct weakly sclerotized, short and broad, irregularly coiling. Pronotum yellowish brown, disc with a large black marking, almost black in dorsal view; anterior margin yellowish brown, basal margin black. Scutellum entirely black. Elytron yellowish brown, humerus with black oblong marking, 2/5 apical region with large black marking, sutural and apical margins black. Ventral surface of body largely black, prosternum, mesosternum and mesosternal epimeron pale yellowish brown; abdomen black, lateral sides yellowish brown; legs darkish brown.</p><p>Head more than one-half as broad as prothorax, nearly round in frontal outline, vertex and frons with sparse and coarse punctures and pubescence. Disc of each with eleven somewhat oblique rows of fairly deep punctures; interspaces with minute punctures.</p><p>Ventral surfaces of body with rather densely fine punctures. Prosternum rectangular, surface uneven, slightly longer than broad, middle part of anterior margin protruded triangularly, posterior margin with a pair of weakly horned protrusions. Mesosternum broad and small, longer than broad, disc slightly concave. Pygidium with coarse and dense punctures, middle part with roundly arcuate posterior margin in male. Claws with teeth.</p><p>Aedeagus (Figs. 4-1D–F; 4-2A–C) elongate, clubbed, about 3.7 times as long as wide. Apex of median lobe triangular, slightly narrower than middle, pointed at apex, weakly curved in lateral view; with long and dense pubescence on each side of apex, without any punctures. Median orifice with middle sclerite bending inwards above surface. Inner sac slender and simple. Tegmen Y-shaped, moderately sclerotized.</p><p>Female. Body more robust than male; antennae slightly shorter than male, reaching middle region of elytra; posterior margin of pygidium more broadened and rounded. Spermatheca (Figs. 4-1C; 4-2D) hook-shaped, 20°- angled bending near 3/5 from apex, very acute at apex, base slightly broad; duct weakly sclerotized, short and incompact. Rectal sclerites weakly sclerotized, not connected between two rectangular sclerites on ventral side.</p><p>Distribution. China (Yunnan).</p><p>Diagnosis. This new species is similar to C. (s. str.) flavicinctus Jacoby, 1892, but can be distinguished by the aedeagus of males with long and dense pubescence.</p><p>Etymology.
