03A987D1FFD43A049E980DBF96E2FF74.taxon	discussion	Remarks This species group can be easily distinguished from the other species of Osmylus by the spotless fore wing, the costal interlinked crossveins, and the male genitalia. In the other species of Osmylus, the fore wing has mottled marking, scattered irregularly around RP area, Cu area, and inner margin. Nevertheless, variation of marking pattern is present within the species of the O. hyalinatus group, eg O. decoratus sometimes with markings on fore wing RP area. In other species the number of dots varies among conspecific individuals. The fore wing subcostal veinlets of species in this group are basally connected by some short oblique crossveins, which are absent in other species of the genus. The process of the male tergum 9 of the species in this group are long (eg O. atomatus) or short triangular (eg O. decoratus), whereas the process of the male tergum 9 of the other species in the genus are different and variously shaped, being long subulate (eg O. bipapillatus), stoutly digitiform (eg O. pachycaudatus) or even absent (eg O. fuberosus).	en	Li, Zechuan, Zheng, Yuchen, Wang, Yongjie, Liu, Xingyue (2025): A revision of the Osmylus hyalinatus species group (Neuroptera: Osmylidae), with description of seven new species. 03A987D1FFDB3A0E9FF10EAD907CF9EC.taxon	discussion	Remarks This species is similar to O. flaviantennatus sp. n., O. gaoligongensis sp. n. and O. verticalis sp. n., and its distribution area overlaps with that of O. verticalis sp. n. However, O. atomatus differs from O. flaviantennatus sp. n. due to the dark brown or black antennae, whereas O. flaviantennatus sp. n. has yellow antennae. It can be distinguished from O. gaoligongensis sp. n. by two processes on female sternum 7, while in O. gaoligongensis sp. n. the processes on female sternum 7 are absent. The differences between O. atomatus and O. verticalis sp. n. mainly refer to the shape of male genitalia. In O. atomatus the process of tergum 9 is long and extended posterodorsally, with the tubercles of gonocoxites 9 closely positioned; whereas in O. verticalis sp. n. the tergum 9 is short and extended dorsad, with the tubercles of gonocoxites 9 widely spaced.	en	Li, Zechuan, Zheng, Yuchen, Wang, Yongjie, Liu, Xingyue (2025): A revision of the Osmylus hyalinatus species group (Neuroptera: Osmylidae), with description of seven new species. 03A987D1FFC73A1B9F780CF79121FDD0.taxon	discussion	Remarks This new species is closely related to O. zheanus, and these two species exhibit largely identical male genitalia. However, they can be distinguished based on the characters of the female genitalia. The anterior branch of female tergum 9 in O. qinlinganus sp. n. is obtuse and slightly narrowed distad, while in O. zheanus, it is slightly broadened and concaved distad. In O. qinlinganus sp. n., the female gonocoxite 9 display isosceles triangular processes near the anterior apex, whereas in O. zheanus the subtriangular anterior angle of gonocoxite 9 on the side of apex. Furthermore, our phylogenetic analysis provides robust support for the validity of this new species.	en	Li, Zechuan, Zheng, Yuchen, Wang, Yongjie, Liu, Xingyue (2025): A revision of the Osmylus hyalinatus species group (Neuroptera: Osmylidae), with description of seven new species. 03A987D1FFC83A199F070DBF9337F9AA.taxon	discussion	Remarks This new species is closely related to O. atomatus morphologically, but it can be easily distinguished by the genital characters. In O. atomatus, the tubercles of male gonocoxites 9 are closely positioned in lateral view; the female sternum 7 is distinguished by two processes, the anterior branch of female tergum 9 is elongated, and the anterior angle of female gonocoxite 9 is triangular in ventral view. However, in O. trituberatus sp. n., the tubercles of male gonocoxites 9 are more widely spaced; the female sternum 7 possesses an indistinct process, the anterior branch of female tergum 9 is notably short, and the anterior angle of female gonocoxite 9 is rounded in ventral view.	en	Li, Zechuan, Zheng, Yuchen, Wang, Yongjie, Liu, Xingyue (2025): A revision of the Osmylus hyalinatus species group (Neuroptera: Osmylidae), with description of seven new species.
