BB3D1518306FD207FF65F99A13FDFAD9.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis Prostomis wangxianensis sp. nov. differs from its congeners by its unique characteristics of jugular processes (the bitoothed apex of the right process, and the presence of one large and one small tooth on the left process), and male genitalia, especially the unique pair of long setae on each paramere. This species differs from Prostomis edithae Schawaller, 1991 which is the only species currently distributed in mainland China (Yunnan, Sichuan and Gansu provinces) by the following characteristics: 1) right jugular process with an apical small lateral tooth right before the pointed apex (lacking in P. edithae); 2) aedeagus slender (stout in P. edithae); 3) median lobe longer than parameres (shorter than parameres in P. edithae); 4) apical setae of parameres long (short in in P. edithae).	en	Yang, Shulin, Yang, Quanhui, Shi, Run (2022): A new species of Prostomis (Coleoptera: Prostomidae) from Southwest China.
