Genus Veraphis Casey

Veraphis Casey, 1897: 509 . Type species: Eutheia impressa LeConte, 1879 (des. by Franz in Newton & Franz (1998)).

Remarks. Morphological structures of this genus were illustrated in Jałoszyński (2013b); all Palaearctic species were treated in Jałoszyński (2009, 2012, 2013a, 2014, 2019), Jałoszyński and Hoshina (2005), and Kurbatov (1995, 2006). Some larval characters were illustrated by Newton (1991).

Composition. Thirty-two species and three subspecies, including new species described below.

Distribution. Europe: Finland, Sweden, Asia: China (Gansu, Qinghai, Shaanxi, Sichuan), East Siberia, Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku), Mongolia, Russian Far East (Primorie), South Korea, North America: USA.
