Diagnosis. Body oblong and covered with setiferous punctures. Eye reniform, frontal disc anteriolaterally with raised portion bearing antennal insertion. Clypeus transverse, more or less convex, distinctly delimited from frons by a transverse curved groove. Temples behind eyes notably narrow. Pronotum narrower than elytra, with blunt lateral tubercles on anterior portion; posterior portion of sides parallel or gently rounded, and basal margin nearly straight or gently sinuate and distinctly marginate. Protibia with one or two spurs; meso- and metatibia with two spurs. Tarsal claws divergent and appendiculate.
In male, posterior margin of 7th sternite evenly curved posteriorly. In female, posterior margin of 7th sternite straight, central portion bisinuate.
