TL: India, Assam, Khasi Hills (presently, in Meghalaya).
TD: Lectotype ♀, NHMUK (Kasy 1973).
Distribution: In India: Meghalaya (Meyrick 1913; Kasy 1973); Elsewhere: Taiwan (Shen & Hsu 2023).

Remarks: The species Agrioscelis tacita was synonymized as Stathmopoda tacita (Kasy 1973), but it has recently been resurrected by Shen et al. (2024).
