Description. Colour. Brown to yellow green. Frontoclypeus yellowish. Fascia red, sometimes yellow in female. Vertex with transverse submarginal ventral and dorsal fuscous lines respectively. Forewings with white spots in cell, sometimes absent in female. Ocelli pale yellow. Eyes brown. Hind wings hyaline, veins dark brown.
Body length, male 5.2–5.5 mm to tip of forewing, female 5.5–6.0 mm to the end of forewing, 6.2–6.5 mm to the tip of ovipositor. Vertex subtriangular, broadly angular apically. Male vertex length: interocular width: pronotal length ratio of 0.50: 0.73: 0.70, female 0.60: 1.0: 0.72.
Male genitalia: Subgenital plates with 3 setae laterally. Pygofer side sharply rounded apically.Aedeagus with 2 pairs of terminal processes, similar in length; aedeagal shaft flattened, widened laterally, ventral cleft medially.
Female genitalia: Ovipositor extending beyond pygofer 1.2 times its apical width. Seventh sternum rounded posteriorly.
Distribution. China (Guizhou, Sichuan, Yunnan).
