Ethalia bysma Herbert, 1992a: 394, figs 4e, 5–8, map 1. Type loc.: off Boteler Point, northern Zululand (27°0.5ʹS: 32°54.7ʹE), 50 m; holotype in NMSA (E1685/T67).

Distribution. South-eastern Africa from central Mozambique (Bight of Sofala) to northern Zululand (off Gipsy Hill); 50–110 m (living 50–70 m).
