Anatomus japonicus A. Adams, 1862b: 347 . Type loc.: Mino-Sima [Mishima], Yamaguchi Pref., Japan, approx. 113 m (restricted by Herbert 1986: 617); lectotype in NHM (NHMUK 1878.1.28.51/1) designated by Geiger (2012: 930).
