Material examined: Canchungo ‒ Caió (CAC), 21.VI.1992, 1♂, LT, A. Serrano leg., ASC .
Remarks. A common ant cetoniinae species distributed throughout West Africa, but also found in DOC (Malec 2015; Schoolmeesters 2019). The adult male specimen of Canchungo ‒ Caió was sampled by LT (Fig. 2c) and fits very well the original description, including the typical paramers conformation of the species (see Schein 1954 a and Malec 2015, Fig. 46a). Biodiversity information (abundance, habitat preference) was provided by Le Gall (2015) and Malec (2015). The GBI specimen was sampled by LT (Fig. 2c) in open secondary forest. It is a new species record for CAC Administrative Region of Guinea-Bissau
