Nyssicus granulatus Tavakilian & Dalens 2014: 32; Monné, 2021: 364 (cat.).

Nyssicus granulatus was described from Saint Elie (French Guiana). Accordingly to Tavakilian & Dalens (2014), the species is characterized by the internal hook of the scape, placed on basal quarter of the scape, and directed both back and down in large males. In fact, the hook is as described by them, but it is not directed downward, but upward.

Material examined. BRAZIL (New country record), Amapá: Porto Platon, 1 female, 6.IV.1983, J. Lacerda col. (MZSP). Amazonas: BR 174 , road km 64, 1 male, 20.VI.1984, Milan Hrabovsky col. (DHCO) .
