Zammara smaragdula Walker, 1858 .

The species was incorrectly synonymized with Z. calochroma by Metcalf (1963a).

The species ranges from Mexico (Sanborn 2006a), Guatemala (Sanborn 2006b), and Costa Rica (Duffels & van der Laan 1985) into South America (Metcalf 1963a). Mexican specimens were collected in Chiapas and Veracruz (Sanborn 2006a).
