Diceroprocta alacris (Stål, 1864) .

The species is known only from Mexico (Metcalf 1963a). Arizona and Texas specimens are considered to be later described species of Diceroprocta . Mexican specimens have been reported from Veracruz, Nuevo León, Tabasco and Yucatán (Metcalf 1963a). The author has also identified specimens from Jalisco.
