Platypedia minor Uhler, 1888 new record.

The AMNH has specimens from Sinaloa, Mazatlan. The collection date is difficult to decipher and is either 1954 or 1957.

The species has previously been reported from California, Nevada and Colorado (Metcalf 1963a).
