Tibicen cultriformis (Davis, 1915) new record.

The SEMC has specimens from Sonora, 11 miles West of Imuria, 26–IX–1958.

The species was previously known from Arizona (Metcalf 1963a) and New Mexico (Sanborn unpublished). It is not surprising to extend the range of the species into Mexico as the author has collected specimens within a few kilometers of the Arizona-Mexico border.
