Cornuplura nigroalbata (Davis, 1936) new record.

The CASC has specimens from Sonora, Bakachaka, Rio Mayo. Collection dates are 3–VII–1935, 4–VII–1935 and 6–VII–1935.

The species was previously only reported from Arizona (Metcalf 1963a) . The extension of this species into Mexico is not a surprise as the author has collected specimens within a couple kilometers of the Arizona-Mexico border.
