Proarna pulverea (Olivier, 1790) .

The species has been reported from Mexico, Surinam, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, and South America (Metcalf 1963a).

The Mexican specimens appear to be separated from the remaining locations and their status needs to be re-evaluated. It has been reported from Veracruz (Stål 1864, Distant 1881).
