Cacama variegata Davis, 1919 new record.

The UMMZ has specimens from Cohuila, Sierra de la Garcia pass, 4000’, 29–VII-1959; Durango, 3 miles East of Conejas, 25–VI–1958; Nuevo Leon, Monterey, 20– VI–1957, 5–IV–1957 and V–1953; Tamaulipas, Victoria, 30–V-1965; and Tamaulipas, Santa Teresa, 15–V– 1952. The EMEC has a specimen from Nuevo Leon, Vallecito, 2–5–VI–1951. The MTEC has a female from Nuevo Leon, Huasteca Canyon, 17–VI–1982. The author (AFSC) has specimens from Tamaulipas, 18 miles south of Laredo, Texas, 17–VI–1965 and Tamaulipas, 80 miles NE of Ciudad Victoria, 13–VI–1965.

The species has been recorded previously only from southern Texas (Metcalf 1963a). The new records expand the species distribution across northeastern Mexico.
