Note. Cyclocephala literata is recorded for French Guiana by Endrödi (1966a: 236, 1985a: 56, 132) and this record is repeated in Moore et al. (2018b: 197). Duranton (2011: 13) notes he saw no definite speci- mens from French Guiana, and the species is not mentioned by Ponchel (2011) and Dupuis (2016b). All other detailed records are from southern Brazil. Because of the lack of any recent records we consider its occurrence in the research area uncertain and in need of confirmation.
