Type material. CHINA, Guangxi: Holotype ♁, Huaping, Yachang, Leye County, 3.V.2007, leg. M Wang, slide SH20197 . Paratype: 1 ♁, same data as holotype .

Diagnosis. The new species can be distinguished by the vinculum having a digitate median process. It is closely allied to N. longissima sp. nov. in the forewing without a black speckle between M 2 and the termen beyond the outer fascia, and in the phallus without a process in the male genitalia. The differences between the two species are stated in the diagnosis of the latter species.

Antenna 3.4‒3.8 × length of forewing; scape golden yellow ventrally, purplish brown dorsally; flagellum grayish brown except basal 1/5 yellowish brown.

Thorax: Mesonotum golden yellow; tegula purplish bronzy. Forewing ground color golden yellow except distal 1/5 purplish bronzy with metallic luster; black speckle from base to basal 1/5, radiating to near basal 2/5 of wing by several black streaks; purplish bronzy band to basal 2/5 along posterior margin of cell; three black streaks below purplish bronzy band: first streak to near basal 2/5 along CuP, second streak to basal 1/3 along 1A+2A, third streak to basal 1/3 of dorsum; inner and outer fasciae silvery gray, with bronzy luster, edged with brown: inner fascia slightly arched outward, outer fascia curved inward and separated by brown scales medially; medial fascia yellow, narrowed medially; black streaks radiating from outer fascia to distal 1/5 of wing; fringe grayish brown. Female unknown.

Distribution. China (Guangxi).

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin med- and seorsus, referring to the medially separated outer fascia of the forewing.
