Diagnosis. The new species can be distinguished from its congeners by the relatively elongate vinculum 4.3 × the length of the valva, which is not longer than 2.5 × the length of the valva in other species. It is similar to N. mediseorsa sp. nov., and can be distinguished by the forewing without a purplish bronzy band, and the uncus with a papillary posteromedial process in the male genitalia. In N. mediseorsa, the forewing has a purplish bronzy band from base to basal 2/5 along the posterior margin of the cell, and the uncus lacks a posteromedial process.

Description. Adult (Figs 4, 5). Male wingspan 12.5‒13.5 mm.

Head: Vertex yellow; frons purplish bronzy. Eye interocular index 0.50‒0.52. Proboscis brown. Labial palpus 0.71‒0.76 × vertical eye diameter; black. Antenna 3.1−3.8 × length of forewing; scape golden yellow ventrally, purplish bronzy dorsally; flagellum grayish brown except basal 1/5 dark yellowish brown.

Thorax: Mesonotum bronzy yellow; tegula purplish bronzy. Forewing ground color brownish yellow except distal 1/6 yellowish bronzy; black speckle from near base to basal 2/5 between costal margin and above posterior margin of cell; two black streaks below black speckle: first streak to beyond basal 1/3 along posterior margin of cell, second streak to basal 1/5 along dorsum; inner and outer fasciae silvery gray, with purplish blue luster, edged with dark brown scales: inner fascia straight or slightly curved outward, outer fascia curved inward, separated by brownish yellow scales medially; medial fascia yellow, narrowed medially; black speckle between costal margin and R 5 beyond outer fascia; five black streaks from outer fascia extending to distal 1/6 between R 5 and termen; fringe grayish brown. Hindwing grayish brown; fringe pale gray. Foreleg silvery yellow except tibia purplish bronzy dorsally; midleg silvery yellow except tibia brownish yellow dorsally; hindleg silvery. Epiphysis silvery, at distal 1/3 of tibia, reaching apex of tibia.

Abdomen: Silvery gray ventrally, dark brown dorsally.

Female wingspan 11.5 mm. Antenna 0.75 × length of forewing, yellowish brown. Otherwise, similar to male.

Male genitalia (Fig. 9). Socius elongate elliptical, length 2.1 × width. Uncus maximum width about 2.8 times length, with papillary process posteromedially. Tegumen without median ridge. Valva fused for basal 2/5, gradually narrowed to rounded apex, slightly concave medially on costal margin; sacculus reaching near apex of valva, setose distally. Transtilla slightly concave medially on anterior margin; median process spiniform, reaching middle of tegumen apically. Vinculum elongate, 4.3 × length of valva, narrowed to obtusely rounded anteriority (Fig. 9b). Phallus 1.1 × length of vinculum, with two belts of spines in distal 1/4; vesica with teeth (Fig. 9a). Juxta 0.58 × length of phallus; lateral arm 0.12 × length of arrow head.

Female genitalia (Fig. 12). Apophyses posteriores slightly longer than apophyses anteriores; apophyses anteriores fused with eighth tergum in posterior 2/5, 2.4 × length of seventh tergum. Eighth tergum triangularly produced anteromedially. Seventh tergum pointed posteriorly. Vestibulum membranous, with two sclerites: one from basal 1/4 to 3/5, another from distal 1/3 to near apex, swollen in distal 1/3. Ductus bursae 0.45 × length of vestibulum, 0.82 × length of corpus bursae. Corpus bursae ovoid.

Distribution. China (Sichuan).

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin longissimus, referring to the relatively elongate vinculum of the male genitalia.
