Material studied. China: Henan: 1 ♀, Xixia County, Funiu Shan, 1400–1700 m, 02.VII.2004, Hu, Tang & Zhu leg. (SNUC).

Comment. This species is similar and evidently closely related to P. daicongchaoi, but distinguished by the somewhat stouter pronotum and the shape of the female tergite VIII.
