Local distribution. (Table 1, Fig. 2).
Remarks. Most of the specimens collected were females. The characteristics of Cacoheterotanais were very similar to those of the females of C. rogerbamberi; however, there are some morphological variations in the base of the maxilliped and in the uropodal endopod, which indicate that it could be a new species. Because it is not yet described, it was not included in the identification key below.
