TYPE LOCALITY: Coastal Mozambique, Inhambane, 24°S .

DISTRIBUTION: Zululand and E Transvaal (South Africa), S Zimbabwe, and S Mozambique.

STATUS: IUCN - Rare.

SYNONYMS: chrysillus, limpopoensis.

COMMENTS: Includes chrysillus and limpopoensis as subspecies, see Roberts (1951:114-115).
