Distribution: Cyprus, Jordan.

Flight period: January–March.

Flower records: Liliaceae: Gagea chlorantha (16♀, 10♂) (Mavromoustakis 1948); Rosaceae: Prunus dulcis (1♀).

Material examined: CYPRUS: Limassol,?. i.1936, G. Mavromoustakis (1♂) ; 16.ii.49 (2♀) (ES, SMNHTAU); JORDAN: Ajlun district, Ebbin, 5.iii.2002, M. Salem, on Prunus dulcis (1♀) (JUST) .

Remarks. This is the first record of the species from the Levant.
