Cypridea dromedarius Krömmelbein, 1962

1962 Cypridea dromedarius n. sp. —Krömmelbein, p. 451–452, pl. 56, fig. 22.

Diagnosis: A large Cypridea species with a more or less semicircular lateral outline. The carapace is high-backed. Rostrum relatively small. There is a characteristic, partly “overhanging” thickening formed like a callus on the dorsal margin of the larger left valve. Length:Height relationship (L/H index) in the holotype is about 1.3:1.

Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 4179.

Paratypes: 6 carapaces under SMF Xe 4180 .

Dimensions: Holotype, length 1.06mm, height 0.80mm.
