Diagnosis: A species of the subgenus Morininoides with the following peculiarities: carapace in lateral outline fairly extended, with a narrowed carapace end extending towards the lower posterior. Right valve larger than left valve. Rostrum robust, fairly strongly curved back; rostral sulcus deep, extending to almost half the carapace height; rostral groove deeply incised, terminating more or less in a point.
Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 5346.
Paratype: Right valve, SMF Xe 5347 .
Dimensions: Holotype, length 1.29mm, height 0.76mm.
