81. Megalota submicans (Walsingham, 1897) (Fig. 39).

The genitalia (slide JWB-21-045) of a single female collected at Comayagua match those illustrated by Brown (2009) for M. submicans, a Caribbean species. Specimens similar to M. submicans have also been reported from southern Texas and Venezuela (Brown 2009), but morphological variation suggests that these specimens are part of a species complex.
