31. Pseudomeritastis new species .
Three specimens of Pseudomeritastis collected in Honduras appear to represent an undescribed species. The male genitalia are unlike any of those illustrated by Obraztsov (1966) in his revision of the genus, or those of species subsequently described by Razowski (2004) and Razowski & Wojtusiak (2010). Costa Rica was the previously known northern distribution of the genus.
Specimens examined: Honduras: Dept. Lempira, P. N. Celaque, Camp Quetzal, 2000 m, 14.5261, -88.6831, 12–16 Jun 2021 (2♂, 1♀), E. van den Berghe (EAP) .
