= Plagiochila deflexirama Taylor
Notes. – Am on g n e o t ro p i c a l Plagiochila s p e c i e s, P. deflexirama stands out by densely (bi)pinnate branching with branches being predominantly of the Frullania - type, and ampliate ventral leaf bases (GRADSTEIN, 2016). Plagiochila bicaudata is similar to P. deflexirama in all respects. The new lectotypification of P. bicaudata was already proposed by J. Heinrichs on an annotation label.
