Rhodostrophia plesiochora Prout, 1917

Rhodostrophia plesiochora Prout, 1917, Novit. zool., 24: 306. Holotype ♁, China (west): Pu-tsu-fong, 9820 ft (NHM).

Diagnosis. The species is very similar to R. yunnanaria, and only can be distinguished by the less rounded wings and the wavy antemedial line of the forewing (Prout (1934 –1939), p. 24, pl. 3: i).

Distribution. China (Sichuan).

Remarks. Prout (1934 –1939) mentioned R. yunnanaria is a possible more heavily marked form of R. plesiochora . Unfortunately, we have no chance to examine the specimens. The differential diagnosis of R. yunnanaria and R. plesiochora needs further attention and study.
