Lectotypus (designated by WHISTLER, 1986: 351): SAMOA. Upolu: Le Pua [ Lepue?], V.1894, Reinecke 635 (G [G00356151] image seen; isolecto-: WRSL) .

Note. – This species is endemic to Upolu in Samoa (WHISTLER, 1986).
