Material examined. 5 spec., TAU 13541, Israel, off Akko, 032°58'N, 034°51'E, 800 m, coll. Galil, 24 August 2004.

Distribution. Eastern Atlantic and the Mediterranean; depth range 5– 624 m. The present record constitutes a depth record for the species.
