Accola lewisi Chickering, 1964: 177, figs 5–9.
Masteria lewisi: Raven, 1979: 625 .
Types. JAMAICA. ♂ holotype, ♀ paratype, Red Hills Road (17°59’45.16”N; 76°57’18.39”W), Saint Catherine Parish, I. X.1957, A. M. Chickering leg., deposited in MCZ, examined.
Diagnosis. Males of M. lewisi are similar to those of M. colombiensis, M. downeyi, M. yacambu n. sp., M. amarumayu n. sp., M. mutum n. sp. and M. aguaruna n. sp. in the piriform palpal bulb, but differ in the short and straight embolus, with a basal projection (Fig. 15B). Females differ from those of other species with bilobed spermathecae in the similar size of the lobes and conspicuous glandular region (Fig. 15D–E).
