G. pfeifferi

is typical synanthropic species that prefers old beeches in parks, but in southern Europe, in Denmark (Sokół, 2000) and Hungary (Papp, Szabó, 2013) follows occurence of old beech forests. However, it was also noted on Acer, Aesculus, Fraxinus, Prunus, Quercus and Ulmus (Bernicchia, 2005; Ryvarden, Melo, 2014).
