Material examined. Five specimens. MB28-004771, VIPP, 12 Aug. 2013, 18m, 6mm; MB28-0 0 4818, MB28- 0 0 4820, MB28-004822 and MHN-YT1182, POA, 0 7 May 2014, 15m, 3–11mm. Habitats. Subtropical rocky reefs and tropical coral reefs.

Occurrences. Ponta do Ouro and Vamizi Island.

Geographic distribution. Indo-west, central Pacific. Hawaii, French Polynesia, Marshall Islands, Guam (Gosliner et al. 2008), Japan (Baba 1955), Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Comoros Islands, Tanzania (Gosliner et al. 2008) and Mozambique.

Remarks. All specimens were found on the spawn of Hexabranchus sanguineus .
