Habitats. Seagrass in the tropical region.

Occurrences. Vamizi Island.

Geographic distribution. Western Indian Ocean. Mozambique.

Remarks. Photographic records of a similar species exist from Egypt (Morisod 2008) and Malasya (Mayes 2012), suggesting a wider distribution.
