Atrichobrunettia (Pachybrunettia) minuta Bravo.
(Figs. 1–3)
Atrichobrunettia minuta Bravo, 2006: 22 –23, figs. 34–40
Diagnosis. Frontal scar patch undivided (Bravo, 2006: fig. 34). Radial fork distal to medial fork (Fig. 1). The distance AB between the hypandrium and the gonocoxal apodeme is 1.5x the length of the paramere (Fig. 2). Apex of sternite 10 without lateral lobes (Fig. 3).
Specimens included in A. minuta: holotype male. The 2 paratypes included by Bravo (2006) in A. minuta were assigned to a new species described below.
Material examined. Holotype male, BRAZIL, Bahia, Sauípe (12o 22’S 37o 56’W), 14.XI.2004, F. Bravo col.
Comments. The type material of A. minuta described by Bravo (2006) included 3 specimens, the holotype from Bahia State and two paratypes from Amazonas State. The discovery of a new specimen similar to A. minuta from Amazonas State (INPA collection) allowed a more accurate evaluation of the characteristics of these 4 specimens. Two species were recognized between these 4 specimens: A. minuta for the specimen of Bahia State and a new species (described below) for the three specimens from Amazonas State. The figures of A. minuta described by Bravo (2006) were based on the holotype. See others commentaries in the next new species.
Distribution. Brazil, Bahia (Sauípe).
