Description. Test elongate, wall calcareous, perforate, surface of chambers ornamented with long costae; early chambers triserially arranged, later biserial and finally unserially arranged; periphery subrounded, sutures initially inclined, later horizontal and depressed; aperture terminal, rounded on a short neck, bordered by a rim.
