Examined material. 1♀ (DNA CK813, LT671758), loc. 3, 11–20.vii.2013 (SMTD).
Remarks. Clistoabdominalis trochanteratus represents a complex of several morphologically similar species with an almost worldwide distribution (Skevington et al. 2007). This species was originally described from Egypt and recently redescribed by Kehlmaier (2005). The Iranian material should be conspecific with the lectotype from Assiut, Egypt.
