Latrunculia crenulata Lévi, 1993 incertae sedis
Latrunculia crenulata Lévi, 1993 was assigned to subgenus Latrunculia by Samaai et al. (2006) despite there being no anisodiscorhabds of normal length and form. Rather, the microscleres strongly resemble the cricophalangasters of Schrammen (1924, Pl. 7, Fig. 41–42, Late Cretaceous of Lower Saxony, northern Germany), and the cricorhabds of Reif (1967, Pl. 13, Fig. 2, Late Jurassic of the Swabian Alb, southern Germany), figured by Wiedenmayer (1994, Fig. 22.14–15, Fig. 17.27, respectively). These were not identified as being from latrunculid taxa. Latrunculia (L.) crenulata has been transferred from subgenus Latrunculia to Latrunculia incertae sedis until further material can be examined (Table 9).
