Material examined: Holotype male (NSM no. 223: 24), JAPAN: Fukushima Prefecture, Hibara Lake, 6.viii.1991, M. Sasa.
Diagnostic characters. The species can be separated from other Paracladopelma species by the following combination of characters: superior volsella symmetrical, clavate, bearing 18 short setae and covered with microtrichia; anal point pointed apically; gonostylus swollen in distal 1/3 and pointed apically.
Male. Description as in Sasa (1993: 72, fig. 5.5) with the following corrections: inferior volsella with rounded lobe covered with microtrichia. The wing and hypopygium of the holotype are re-drawn in Figures 30–32.
Distribution. The species is recorded from in Japan.
