Amplaria oedipus Shear, Nosler & Marek, 2022, Zootaxa 5099: 139.

Male holotype and female paratype from Cape Mountain, near Florence, Lane Co., Oregon (CAS).

Known only from the type locality. This species is unique among Amplaria species in having greatly swollen tarsi on legpairs 5–7 of the males.
