Aeolothrips inauditus Bianchi, 1945: 261 .

This species has been recorded only from New Caledonia. Females and males both have the maxillary palps 3- segmented, with segment II not subdivided. The linear sensorium on antennal segments III–IV is unusually long, reaching to the base of these segments.
