Syntypes. HNHM Pseudoscorp-324: 4 ex. “811/1887 Garypinus dimidiatum [sic.] C.L. Koch, Det. Dr. Daday Jenő ”, “Corfu” [Greece] .

Current status. Junior subjective synonym of Garypinus dimidiatus (L. Koch, 1873) (Daday 1889a) .

Remarks. The specimens probably represent the syntypes of the species. Tömösváry’s original labels were probably replaced later, without indicating the original identifier or type status (see Introduction). The original description mentions four specimens, which supports the identification of this material as the type series.
