blothroides Tömösváry, 1883
Obisium blothroides Tömösváry 1883: 224 –225, pl. III figs 9–10.
Obisium praecipuum (not Simon, 1879): Daday 1889a: 130, 186 (misidentification).
Syntype. HNHM Pseudoscorp-411: 1 ex. “1885/1929 Obisium praecipuum Sim. [Simon] Det. Daday Jenő ”, “ Neobisium (N.) blothroides (Tömösv.), SYNTYPE, rev. V. Mahnert, X.1974 ”, “Mehádia 1881” [a cave in the Domogled Mts, Romania] .
Current status. Valid, as Neobisium (Neobisium) blothroides (Tömösváry, 1883) (Beier 1932a) .
Remarks. The specimen probably represents one of the syntypes. Tömösváry’s original labels were probably replaced later, without indicating the original identifier or type status (see Introduction). Tömösváry (1883) mentioned two specimens, whereas Daday (1889a: 130) listed three, but there is only one in the vial now.
