Aulacizes Amyot & Serville 1843
Twelve species of Aulacizes are known, of which five are recorded from Argentina (Young 1968; Mejdalani et al. 2006; Paradell et al. 2012).
According to Young (1968), the male genitalia and the female abdominal sternite VII do not appear to offer conclusive specific characters in this genus; while the external characters are variable to some degree. Azevedo Filho & Carvalho (2006) provide a detailed description of A. conspersa Walker, A. obsoleta Melichar and A. quadripunctata (Germar), including characters of the female terminalia.
