Munididae

Munididae have been reported throughout the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean. We used specimens found in both of these water bodies (Fig. 7). Specimens of 25 of the 28 species of Munididae reported from the Gulf of Mexico were examined (Table 3). Of these, 16 had sample sizes sufficient to warrant statistical analyses.
