Anomoeomunida caribensis (Mayo, 1972)

Anomoeomunida caribensis was previously reported as Phylladiorhynchus caribensis from the Caribbean in depths of 11 to 38 m (Mayo 1972). Only four males and two ovigerous females were in collections. One female was 3.9 mm (CW) and had 17 eggs with an average egg diameter of 0.36 mm. The other female was 3.4 mm (CW) and had 183 eggs with an average diameter of 0.47 mm. All specimens were collected in June from the southern Gulf of Mexico.
