Munidopsis penescabra Pequegnat & Williams, 1995

Munidopsis penescabra has been reported from the western Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico in depths of 543 to 807 m (Pequegnat & Williams 1995). Four specimens, two males and two females, of M. penescabra were available but not measured before they were sent out for stable isotope analysis. All specimens were from the Gulf of Mexico in depths of 543 to 807 m and were collected in May and June.
